Dear Sunset View Parents:

Sunset View Elementary will continue to utilize an electronic visitor management system on the main entrance of the school. It is new and improved! (Please see the video links below for detailed instructions.)

The first thing you need to know is you will need to present your government-issued ID to begin the check-in process. Please make sure you bring it along.

If you don’t have a government-issued ID, you can press the call button near the visitor management kiosk and speak directly to a secretary for assistance.

So here are the simple steps:

*When you enter a school, report directly to the designated visitor management kiosk. There are signs letting you know where this is located.

*Choose either English or Spanish by clicking on the language option in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

*Scan your government ID’s barcode.

*If this is your first time using the system, the kiosk will take a photo of you to use for your visitor badge. You can choose to retake your picture or proceed to the next step.

*In the next step, select your reason for visiting or your destination in the school.

*When the system clears you a visitor badge will print in the main office. You must wear your badge at all times while on school grounds.

*Once you have completed these steps, press the call button located near the kiosk.

*The secretary will open the door and you can pick up your badge from the main office.

*The badge will include your name, photo, date, time of entry, and your destination within the school.

*The Visitor Management System does not use your information for any other purpose, so there is no need to worry about privacy.

*When you have finished your visit to the school, we ask that you return to the front desk to hand your badge to the secretary and then visit the kiosk once more for check-out.

*Simply reScan your ID to automatically sign out.

We know your time is important and we want your visit to Sunset View to be positive. The safety of our students will always be our highest priority so we hope for your cooperation and understanding in navigating this system. The Visitor Management System scanning process takes less than a minute, and it’s time well spent to ensure a high level of security within our schools.

Sistema de gestión de visitantes – Entrada de la puerta principal

Estimados padres de Sunset View:

La escuela primaria Sunset View continuará utilizando un sistema electrónico de gestión de visitantes en la entrada principal de la escuela. ¡Es nuevo y mejorado! (Por favor, vea los enlaces de vídeo a continuación para obtener instrucciones detalladas).

Lo primero que debe saber es que tendrá que presentar su identificación emitida por el gobierno para comenzar el proceso de registro. Asegúrese de llevarlo consigo.

Si no tiene un documento de identidad emitido por el gobierno, puede pulsar el botón de llamada cerca del quiosco de gestión de visitantes y hablar directamente con una secretaria para que le ayude.

Estos son los sencillos pasos:

*Cuando entre en una escuela, diríjase directamente al quiosco de gestión de visitantes designado. Hay carteles que le indican dónde se encuentra.

*Elija el inglés o el español haciendo clic en la opción de idioma en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla.

*Escanee el código de barras de su identificación gubernamental.

*Si es la primera vez que utiliza el sistema, el quiosco le tomará una foto para utilizarla en su tarjeta de visitante. Puede optar por volver a tomarse la foto o pasar al siguiente paso.

*En el siguiente paso, seleccione el motivo de su visita o su destino en la escuela.

*Cuando el sistema le autorice, se imprimirá una tarjeta de visitante en la oficina principal. Deberá llevar su credencial en todo momento mientras esté en el recinto escolar.

*Una vez que haya completado estos pasos, pulse el botón de llamada situado cerca del quiosco.

*La secretaria le abrirá la puerta y podrá recoger su credencial en la oficina principal.

*El distintivo incluirá su nombre, foto, fecha, hora de entrada y su destino dentro de la escuela.

*El sistema de gestión de visitantes no utiliza sus datos para ningún otro fin, por lo que no hay que preocuparse por la privacidad.

*Cuando haya terminado su visita a la escuela, le pedimos que regrese a la recepción para entregar su credencial a la secretaria y luego visite el quiosco una vez más para la salida.

*Simplemente vuelva a escanear su credencial para salir automáticamente.

Sabemos que su tiempo es importante y queremos que su visita a Sunset View sea positiva. La seguridad de nuestros estudiantes será siempre nuestra mayor prioridad, por lo que esperamos su cooperación y comprensión en la navegación de este sistema. El proceso de escaneo del Sistema de Gestión de Visitantes toma menos de un minuto, y es un tiempo bien empleado para asegurar un alto nivel de seguridad dentro de nuestras escuelas.
