Teachers are known for using lots of acronyms and phrases that align with the programs that are used in the classroom but may be unfamiliar to parents. Sunset View has created a Parent DIctionary as a means of helping parents to understand terms or phrases that they may hear their child’s teacher using. The Parent Dictionary is organized alphabetically. It is meant to be a ‘living’ document and will be updated annually using feedback that we receive from parents. Please check back each year for the most updated version. If you have a term or phrase that you think needs to be added, please let Lance Vandermark know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
