The Age of Exploration – Explorer Cereal Boxes
Students in Mrs. Metz’s class had the opportunity to study the Age of Exploration. Her students chose their explorer, researched the explorer using their class text and approved online resources, and paraphrased their learning. The culmination of this project was compiling all of their information onto a cereal box that creatively displayed their explorer’s biography, details about their explorations, additional facts about the explorer, maps about their routes, and games or word searches designed around keys facts from the explorer’s life. What a fun way to research, study, write, and share information! Thanks, Mrs. Metz!
