Sunset View Elementary School

Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.

Today, we are introducing one of our amazing Fifth Grade teachers, Mrs. Young.

Mrs. Young is a Fifth Grade teacher at Sunset View! Mrs. Young was born in Church Rock, New Mexico. She has lived in Utah for the past 7 years. Mrs. Young and her husband have been married for 43 years! Together they have 5 children (4 sons and 1 daughter), and 14 grandchildren (7 grandsons and 7 granddaughters)! Mrs. Young has been teaching for 26 years! Mrs. Young’s go-to snacks when watching a show are red vines or ice cream. Mrs. Young’s favorite memory from elementary school is singing time in second grade. They would gather around a piano with their chairs, their teacher played the piano, and all the kids sang. She would sing her heart out! The last show that Mrs. Young binged was ‘Downton Abbey’.
