Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.

Today, we are introducing our front office staff – Mrs. Liechty, Mrs. Bushman, and Mrs. Ruelas. They are the first people you see when you enter our school…and we LOVE them!

Mrs. Liechty is our head secretary. She was born and raised in Provo and has raised her own family in Provo too. She and her husband have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren. This is Mrs. Liechty’s twenty-third year working in schools. Mrs. Liechty’s favorite snacks are potato chips and Diet Coke! The one food that she could eat forever and not get tired of is chips and salsa. Her favorite memory from when she was in elementary school was when she put a tac and peanut butter on her teacher’s chair – and the teacher sat on it! The last shows that Mrs. Liechty binge-watched were Alone, survivor, and Nature.

Mrs. Bushman is our attendance secretary. She was also born and raised right here in Provo. She and her husband raised their two girls in Provo as well. Recently Mrs. Bushman’s family has grown to include a flock of chickens! This is Mrs. Bushman’s twenty-third year working in schools. Mrs. Bushman’s go-to snack is chips. The one food that she could eat forever and never get sick of is chips and salsa – and La Casita has the best! The best advice that Mrs. Bushman has ever received is to just take one day at a time.

Mrs. Ruelas is our registrar. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico! This will be her fifth year working in schools. Mrs. Ruelas and her husband have two children as well as two fur babies. Her favorite go-to snack is chips with hot sauce and lime. The one food that Mrs. Ruelas could eat forever and never get tired of is chicken flautas with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and salsa. One of her favorite memories from elementary school is when she would play dodgeball against the other fifth-grade classes. The classes loved playing against each other to see which class was the best! The last shows that Mrs. Ruelas binge-watched were Casa de papal (Money Heist) and All American.

#teacherfeaturefriday – Personal de la Oficina Principal

¡Hurra por el viernes! ¡Es el día en que usted puede aprender más acerca de los fantásticos miembros del personal que tenemos trabajando en Sunset View Elementary! Este año continuaremos tomando cada viernes para presentar a los miembros de nuestra familia de Sunset View.

Hoy, estamos presentando a nuestro personal de la oficina principal – la Sra. Liechty, la Sra. Bushman, y la Sra. Ruelas. Ellas son las primeras personas que usted ve cuando entra a nuestra escuela… ¡y las amamos!

La Sra. Liechty es nuestra secretaria principal. Ella nació y creció en Provo y ha criado a su propia familia en Provo también. Ella y su esposo tienen tres hijos, dos nueras y dos nietos. Este es el vigésimo tercer año que la Sra. Liechty trabaja en las escuelas. Los aperitivos favoritos de la Sra. Liechty son las patatas fritas y la Coca-Cola Light. La única comida que podría comer para siempre y no cansarse de ella son las patatas fritas y la salsa. Su recuerdo favorito de cuando estaba en la escuela primaria fue cuando puso un taco y mantequilla de cacahuete en la silla de su profesor, ¡y éste se sentó en ella! Los últimos programas que la Sra. Liechty vio fueron Alone, Survivor y Nature.

La Sra. Bushman es nuestra secretaria de asistencia. También nació y se crió aquí en Provo. Ella y su esposo criaron a sus dos hijas en Provo también. Recientemente, la familia de la Sra. Bushman ha crecido hasta incluir una bandada de pollos. Este es el vigésimo tercer año que la Sra. Bushman trabaja en las escuelas. La merienda preferida de la Sra. Bushman son las patatas fritas. El único alimento que podría comer para siempre y del que nunca se cansaría son las patatas fritas y la salsa – ¡y La Casita tiene las mejores! El mejor consejo que la Sra. Bushman ha recibido es tomar un día a la vez.

La Sra. Ruelas es nuestra secretaria. Nació en Guadalajara, México. Este será su quinto año de trabajo en las escuelas. La Sra. Ruelas y su esposo tienen dos hijos y dos bebés peludos. Su aperitivo favorito son las patatas fritas con salsa picante y lima. La comida que la Sra. Ruelas podría comer para siempre y nunca se cansaría de ella son las flautas de pollo con guacamole, crema agria, lechuga y salsa. Uno de sus recuerdos favoritos de la escuela primaria es cuando jugaba al balón prisionero contra las otras clases de quinto grado. A las clases les encantaba jugar unas contra otras para ver qué clase era la mejor. Los últimos programas que la Sra. Ruelas vio fueron Casa de papal (Money Heist) y All American.
