Hello Parents! We are excited to announce the return of our Spring Break Book Club! This will be taking place over Spring Break April 3-7!

While the Book Fair was at our school, students visited with their classes and were able to select one book that interested them that they would like to read and add to their home libraries. Those books will be sent home tomorrow, Friday, March 31. We hope that you will enjoy reading this book with your child over your Spring Break! Because students chose their books based on their own interests, some students may be able to read their books independently while others may require more support.

We would love to hear what your child enjoyed about their book after they have read it. Inside each book will be a stamped and addressed postcard. Please use this postcard to send your child’s teacher a letter telling them their favorite part from the book! There is space for your child to draw a picture of one of their favorite parts of their book on the front of the postcard and room for them to write a short note to their teacher on the back of the postcard. We can’t wait to have all the postcards arrive in the mail at our school so we can read them and hear about the books you’ve been reading!

We will collect all the postcards we receive and use them as raffle tickets for a prize drawing to give away 3 Kindle Fires to our students who participate.
