Students practiced their underhand rolling and team-building skills with many activities in PE. These included: Skee Ball, Cup Stacking, Bocce, Cosmic Bowling, and Building a Turkey – students took turns riding on a scooter to retrieve pieces of their “turkeys’ from the other side of the gym. There were feathers, scarves, cones, and dice. On the back of the feathers were exercises where students rolled dice to determine how many they needed to do as a team. When all the pieces were retrieved, teams created a “turkey” of their own design.
