On April 21st, our Battle of the Books teams had the chance to compete at the district level against teams from other schools. The competition was held virtually this year in the library KIVA. The students worked so hard and both teams placed 4th overall in the district! We are so proud of our Sunset View teams and all the preparation they did for these battles this year. Miss Fisher already has the booklists for next year’s competition, so be sure to have students get one before school is out so that they can start reading early for next year! Thanks to everyone who participated and supported this library program this year!
As a reminder, all library books that students have checked out during the year are due to Miss Fisher by Friday, May 14.
