This month in art we started with Easter projects just for fun! Check out the awesome woven Easter baskets students made! Students also made bunnies out of egg shapes. Classes have also been finishing up projects for the Social Studies Extravaganza being held at the end of May. We’ve also been getting ready for summer by making kites and flying them, drawing self-portraits underwater with scuba gear, and making sailboats – Bring on the sun! Fifth-grade students have been working on paper mache animals for the Sunset View Bean Museum! We’ve got some talented artists at our school working with Mrs. Johnson.

¡Este mes en arte comenzamos con proyectos de Pascua sólo por diversión! Mira las impresionantes cestas de Pascua tejidas que hicieron los estudiantes. Los estudiantes también hicieron conejitos con formas de huevo. Las clases también han estado terminando proyectos para la Extravagancia de Estudios Sociales que se celebra a finales de mayo. También nos hemos estado preparando para el verano haciendo cometas y volándolas, dibujando autorretratos bajo el agua con equipo de buceo y haciendo veleros – ¡Que venga el sol! ¡Los alumnos de quinto grado han estado trabajando en animales de papel maché para el Museo Sunset View Bean! Tenemos algunos artistas talentosos en nuestra escuela trabajando con la Sra. Johnson.
