Specialties Spotlight – Art with Mrs. Johnson

We have been super busy in Art class! Last month we celebrated Black History Month and each grade level learned about a different artist and did a project to match their studies. This month we are working on women artists. Plus, we have started a bunch of projects for our Social Studies Extravaganza! We are doing Utah ABC posters, puzzles, paper-mâché animals, enlargement movie posters, etc. We are staying busy and having a great time!

¡Hemos estado muy ocupados en la clase de Arte! El mes pasado celebramos el Mes de la Historia Negra y cada grado aprendió acerca de un artista diferente e hizo un proyecto para que coincida con sus estudios. Este mes estamos trabajando en mujeres artistas. Además, ¡hemos empezado un montón de proyectos para nuestra Extravaganza de Estudios Sociales! Estamos haciendo carteles del abecedario de Utah, rompecabezas, animales de papel maché, carteles de películas ampliados, etc. Estamos muy ocupados y nos lo estamos pasando muy bien.
