Provo City School District

Sunset View Elementary School

Many of you may have heard about the SafeUT App that has been highlighted in the news and is currently being used in our secondary schools. This same free app is now available to students and their families across Provo City School District. It has three main functions:

  1. You can connect directly to counselors who care and want to help you through live chat or a phone call.
  2. You can submit an anonymous tip that goes directly to your school.
  3. You can report safety concerns to your school such as violence, drugs and bullying.

The app is easy to use and completely confidential. Please watch this short video explaining how the app works. Additional information is available on the SafeUT Website.

4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Timpanogos have been given a presentation on how to use the SafeUT App.

We hope this will provide another means for students to get help and be safe. If you have any questions please contact our social counselor, Ben Young, at the school or by email at: beny@provo.edu.
