NewsToday we held the third, and final, day of our Dragon Dash Obstacle Course. It was another fun-filled day out on the field. All of the classes had a wonderful time running the course that we had set-up in the north field. There are 12 events in the obstacle course: zig-zag running, bunny hops, running through hula hoops, crawling through hula hoops, hopscotch, walking along a balance beam (safely on the ground), army crawl, crab walk, push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and somersaults.
The Dragon Dash is a fundraising event for the students of Sunset View and their classrooms. Traditionally the Dragon Dash funds field trips. Due to Covid, we are unable to participate in field trips this year. The Dragon Dash Obstacle Course will provide funds for classrooms to purchase science materials and books. Donations can be submitted until Wednesday, October 14.
All donations are voluntary and students will not be kept from participating in activities if donations are not given.
