Second Grade students in Mrs. Fordham’s class have been working on an Engineering Lesson. They learned how to solve problems and come up with solutions using a real world problem. They explored animal crossings of various types, learned why they are necessary, and how they were constructed. They learned that Crabs in Australia were getting ran over by cars as they tried to cross the road. Their class designed bridges and tunnels to get the crabs to safety. They used Hex Bugs decorated like crabs to test and improve our designs.
