Last Friday we held our April Recognition Assembly virtually via Zoom. Thank you to all of the parents who were able to log in and join us for this event. We are excited to be able to continue our Recognition Assembly traditions using the technology that is available to us. We loved being able to celebrate our students on Friday and to award them some prizes for receiving SOAR cards throughout the past month. We were also able to recognize Miss Hollman as our teacher of the month as well as Mrs. Young and Mr. Johansen as staff members of the month. Our PTA was at our assembly to reward the fifth-grade classes for selling the most chocolate during our fundraiser! As a reward, each fifth-grade class received tons of new recess equipment. We also have a big shout-out and congratulations to Mrs. Kinsey’s class for earning the Iron Man award for being the class with the best attendance during the month of April! Principal Chilcoat also had 2 bikes to give away as part of our Spring Book Club. The postcards we received in the week following Spring Break were put together and 2 winners were drawn. It was so fun to be able to have those bikes to give away to these students as well.

For each Recognition Assembly, after students are selected by their teachers, parents will be notified by email with the Zoom link to join on the day of the assembly.
