#teacherfeaturefriday – Mrs. Lucero
Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.
Today, we are introducing one of our Preschool teachers, Mrs. Lucero.
Mrs. Lucero is one of the Preschool teachers at Sunset View. She has lived in Utah for about 34 years, but has also lived in Germany, Texas, Idaho, and even Hawaii! Mrs. Lucero and her husband love to get together with her mother, her two brothers, her nephews, and her in-laws. When they are together they enjoy hiking, playing card games, and playing board games! This is Mrs. Lucero’s 10th year of teaching. Mrs. Lucero’s go-to snack is…nothing! She doesn’t enjoy snacking when she is watching shows. She wants to watch without being distracted! The one food that she could eat forever and never get sick of is strawberries. Mrs. Lucero’s favorite memory from elementary school was, as a class, passing around a jar of cream and shaking it to make butter. She also enjoyed when they would sit around a pretend campfire roasting corn (Corn Pop cereal) in foil and eating it! Years ago Mrs. Lucero binge-watched Anne of Green Gables. Recently she was binged Ruby and the Well.
