Today was the second day of our Safety Week! In their classes, students are learning about choosing to stay calm by being safe with their body and their words. Students dressed as people who help to keep them safe. We had parents, grandparents, police officers, paramedics, firefighters, teachers, army and military servicemen and women, construction workers, athletes, detectives, angels, and so many more! There are so many people around us who help to keep us safe!

Tomorrow students will be learning about playground safety and dressing in their favorite sportswear!

Día 2 de la Semana de la Seguridad – Vístete como alguien que te mantiene a salvo

Hoy ha sido el segundo día de nuestra Semana de la Seguridad. En sus clases, los alumnos están aprendiendo a elegir mantener la calma siendo seguros con su cuerpo y sus palabras. Los alumnos se han disfrazado de personas que ayudan a mantener la seguridad. Tuvimos padres, abuelos, policías, paramédicos, bomberos, maestros, militares, trabajadores de la construcción, atletas, detectives, ángeles y muchos más. Hay muchas personas a nuestro alrededor que nos ayudan a mantenernos seguros.

Mañana los alumnos aprenderán sobre la seguridad en el patio de recreo y se vestirán con su ropa deportiva favorita.
