In PE, we have focused on a few things lately. Students worked on rolling a ball underhand and did cardio bowling to practice. Everyone had a partner, one on a dot, the other behind a bowling pin. The person on the dot had a ball and rolled it toward the pin. If they hit the pin, they counted one point, and reset the playing field for their partner to give it a try, and switched positions.

Students also worked on upper body strength with a burpee challenge warm-up. Everyone student had a handkerchief. They tossed it into the air and tried to complete a burpee and catch the handkerchief before it touched the ground. It’s harder than it might look!

We have also been working on underhand tosses at a target and into a target.

Don’t forget to work towards an hour a day of activity. It doesn’t have to all be at once!

Don’t forget to check out our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages!
