A note from our Speech-Language Pathologist, Miss Warner:
Hearing is an important part of your student’s ability to learn and progress at school. For this reason, in accordance with state and federal laws, we conduct a yearly school-wide hearing screening, to identify children with potential hearing problems. Our annual screening includes preschool entry, Kindergarten, 3rd, 7th, and 11th grades, all students in special education programs, all students new to Provo City School District, and students with parent/teacher concerns. This year, your school’s hearing screening is scheduled for October 26 and 27. Please let your student’s teacher know if they are not part of the groups mentioned and you would like them screened. If your student isn’t attending school and you would like to have them screened, you can bring them to the school on the day of the screening or contact the audiologist for alternatives.
