Parent Academy Workshop

Parent Academy will provide parents the opportunity to become informed, learn new skills, and connect with other parents. It will consist of workshops, classes, and family activities offered quarterly. Topics will include: navigating the school system, homework strategies, internet safety, positive behavior support, effective communication, understanding IEPs, mental health, literacy, successful transitions to secondary school, college readiness, and more!!

The Parent Academy is honored and excited to host a workshop with Tom Hughes for all students, parents, and faculty in the Provo City School District. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn from Tom how to build the skills you need to reach your goals!

It will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3rd from 6-7pm in the Provo High School Presentations Room. Feel free to share this and invite your friends!

Parent Academy brindará a los padres la oportunidad de informarse, aprender nuevas habilidades y conectarse con otros padres. Consistirá en talleres, clases y actividades familiares que se ofrecen trimestralmente. El tema incluirá: navegar por el sistema escolar, estrategias de tarea, seguridad en Internet, apoyo de comportamiento positivo, comunicación efectiva, comprensión de IEP, salud mental, alfabetización, transiciones exitosas a la escuela secundaria, preparación para la universidad, ¡y más! La Academia de Padres tiene el honor de presentar un taller con Tom Hughes para todos los estudiantes, padres y profesores en el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Provo. ¡No se pierda esta gran oportunidad de aprender de Tom cómo desarrollar las habilidades que necesita para alcanzar sus metas! Se llevará a cabo el martes 3 de septiembre de 6-7pm en la Sala de Presentaciones de la escuela Provo High. ¡Sienta libre de compartir esto e invitar a sus amigos!
