Hearing is an important part of your student’s ability to learn and progress at school. For this reason, in accordance with state and federal laws, we conduct a yearly school-wide hearing screening, to identify children with potential hearing problems. Our annual screening includes Kindergarten students, Third-grade students, all students with IEPs, all students new to Provo City School District, and students with parent/teacher concerns. This year, Sunset View’s hearing screening is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, and Thursday, September 29. Please let your student’s teacher know if they are not part of the groups mentioned and you would like them screened. If you do not want your child screened, please let your child’s teacher know via email or signed note. If you have any questions, please contact our front office at (801) 374-4950. Thanks!
