NewsStudents have loved celebrating Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss’ birthday in the library! Our librarian turned the library into Seussville and the kids have enjoyed playing a variety of games based off of Dr. Seuss books: 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish fishing, Green Eggs and Ham tic tac toe, Cat in the Hat cup stacking, Seuss characters memory game, Ten Apples Up on Top tenzi, Dr. Seuss ring toss, Hop-scotch on Pop, Suessical word searches, Cat in the Hat bookmark coloring and Fox in Socks sock decorating. They have enjoyed reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books in Whoville houses and the Truffula Tree forest as well. It’s been so fun to see reading come to life in the library this week!
