#teacherfeaturefriday – Miss Kelemen
Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.
Today, we are introducing one of our amazing Kindergarten teachers, Miss Kelemen.
Miss Kelemen is one of the Kindergarten teachers at Sunset View! Miss Kelemen has lived in Utah for nearly her entire life! Miss Kelemen has a large family. She has 8 siblings and 21 nieces and nephews! This is Miss Kelemen’s 2nd year of teaching. Miss. Kelemen doesn’t have a go-to snack when she is watching tv. She feels too much like a wormwood if she is snacking while watching tv. The two foods that she could eat forever and never get sick of are ice cream and chips and salsa! Miss. Kelemen’s favorite memory from elementary school was when all the grades would gather in the gym before Christmas break. Each grade level would learn and sing a song for the rest of the school. The sixth-grade teachers would rewrite the lyrics to a popular familiar song. The year that she was in sixth grade they sang “Teachers get Nothing for Christmas!” The last show that Miss. Kelemen binge-watched was Call the Midwife.
