Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.

Today, we are introducing one of our amazing Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Monn.

Mrs. Monn is one of the Kindergarten teachers at Sunset View! Mrs. Monn has lived in Utah for a total of 13 years! Mrs. Monn and her husband just celebrated their 17th anniversary! Together they have 6 children – 5 of whom have attended school at Sunset View! This is Mrs. Monn’s 5th year of teaching. Mrs. Monn’s go-to snack is extra butter popcorn or ice cream. The one food that she could eat forever and never get sick of is hot chocolate – it is like her morning coffee! Mrs. Monn’s favorite memory from elementary school was when her fourth-grade teacher let her and her friends put together skits, dances, and songs if they finished their work early. Sometimes they were about what they were learning in class and sometimes they were on random topics. The last show that Mrs. Monn binge-watched was Van Helsing.
