Provo has a winter storm warning beginning later this evening and running through tomorrow. Due to the current forecast and projections, we will be holding a 2-Hour Late Start tomorrow morning.

This means that school will start two hours later than normal for each school. For example, if your school starts at 8:00 on a normal day, it will start at 10:00 tomorrow. Schools will still release at their normal times.

School buses will begin their first route two hours late at their regular stops.

There will be NO half-day kindergarten or preschool. High School athletics and activities will take place as scheduled.

This preemptive decision has been made to provide families with advanced notice to adjust their schedules as needed. We will continue to monitor weather reports and will monitor the road conditions in the morning. If any additional adjustments are needed during the 2-hour delay, those will be communicated as soon as possible tomorrow morning by phone, text, email, district website, and district social media.
