Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.
Today, we are introducing our amazing Music teacher, Mrs. Valdez.
Mrs. Valdez is the Music teacher at Sunset View! Mrs. Valdez was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota. She has been in Utah for the past 37 years! Mrs. Valdez has been teaching in the classroom for 5 years. She was also a paraeducator for 9 years before becoming a classroom teacher! Mrs. Valdez has five children, ages 34-22, one son-in-law, and one daughter-in-law. Mrs. Valdez’s go-to snack when watching a show is popcorn with either a root beer or a chocolate milk. Mrs. Valdez’s favorite memory from elementary school was learning archery. The last shows that Mrs. Valdez binged were the Marvel movies.
