Attending: Karen Phair, Brooke Barnes, Christine Harrison, Seth Hansen, Teri Mccabe, Carrie Prince
- Safe Routes to School
- City is planning on developing 1600 with curb, gutter, and sidewalks, but not necessarily the small section that connects to the school.
- District 3 Neighborhood meeting recap
- New sports park closed to public – lots of public upset by it. It’s being described as similar to Rec Center
- Integrate Resilience and Grit
- Include this in next year’s plan with social/emotional learning
- Bridging this with parents and families through common vocabulary
- Invite Chris Bringhurst to the next meeting to help explain and develop this further. The school may take on the role of sending resources home to parents so teachers don’t have to.
- Second Step is Tier 1 social emotional instruction; Chris B is a Tier 2 or Tier 3
- Scotty Pendleton’s newspaper
- One week after school course for parents, students, families to increase parent involvement?
- Continue Review of Current Year’s Plan
- Goal 1: 70% of K-6 students will make typical or above progress on MOY Acadience assessment.
- Can we ask for more parent volunteers to free up aide hours for targeted intervention/duties around the school?
- There are more intervention programs that
- Goal 2; 60% of our students will be on or above grade level based on the MOY benchmark on Into Math
- This requires an amendment to include NWEA assessment
