Hooray for Friday! It’s the day you get to learn more about the fantastic staff members we have working at Sunset View Elementary! This year we will continue to take each Friday to introduce members of our Sunset View family.
Today, we are introducing one of our amazing Sixth Grade teachers, Miss Ika.
Miss Ika is one of the Sixth Grade teachers at Sunset View! Miss Ika was born and raised right here in Provo, Utah! Miss Ika has an amazing family – her parents, two sisters, and two brothers. Her family loves food (they make the best food), sports, watching everyone’s sporting events, and playing games (even though some of her family can get pretty competitive). Miss Ika has been teaching for 6 years. Miss Ika’s go-to snack when watching a show is Chex Mix (honey nut, turtle, or cheddar). Miss Ika’s favorite memory from elementary school was a bridge-building competition to see which bridge would hold the most weight. She also loved playing capture the flag! The last show that Miss Ika binged was all of her sister’s sporting events!

¡Hurra por el viernes! ¡Es el día en que usted puede aprender más acerca de los fantásticos miembros del personal que tenemos trabajando en Sunset View Elementary! Este año continuaremos tomando cada viernes para presentar a los miembros de nuestra familia de Sunset View.
Hoy, estamos presentando a una de nuestras increíbles maestras de Sexto Grado, Miss Ika.
Miss Ika es una de las maestras de sexto grado de Sunset View. La señorita Ika nació y creció aquí en Provo, Utah. La señorita Ika tiene una familia increíble – sus padres, dos hermanas y dos hermanos. A su familia le encanta la comida (hacen la mejor comida), los deportes, ver los eventos deportivos de todos, y jugar juegos (aunque algunos de su familia pueden llegar a ser bastante competitivos). La Srta. Ika lleva 6 años enseñando. El tentempié favorito de la Srta. Ika cuando ve un programa es Chex Mix (miel, nueces, tortuga o queso cheddar). El recuerdo favorito de la Srta. Ika de la escuela primaria fue una competición de construcción de puentes para ver qué puente aguantaba más peso. También le encantaba jugar a capturar la bandera. El último programa que vio la Srta. Ika fue todos los eventos deportivos de su hermana.
