When was the last time you picked up a jump rope and gave it a try? How many times can you jump with two feet together? How many times hopping on one foot and then the other? Did you try any tricks to challenge yourself? How long could you turn the rope and jump while maintaining control?

Students in PE began with the rope on the ground, two feet together, moving the length of the rope forward, backward, one foot, two feet…then moved up to turning the rope and jumping, and trying some tricks.

There’s always something to work for when a jump rope is involved!
