Sunset View Elementary School

This month in art students have done science art projects. First grade made sun, moon, and star pictures with poked holes so when you hang them in a window they will look like stars. Second grade made biome murals after going on a field trip to the zoo. Third grade made weather paintings with shaving cream. Fourth grade made external structures with texture drawings. Fifth grade learned how to recycle paper and crayons into new paper and new crayons. Sixth grade made season paintings. After their science art projects, students learned about Norman Rockwell featuring his Thanksgiving painting, and made seasonal projects. First grade made corn cob paintings with legos, Second grade made thankful pies, Third grade made thankful placemats, Fourth grade disguised turkeys, and Fifth grade drew some pretty impressive Mayflowers. Students had a great month in Art! Mrs. Johnson says she is so grateful to be with our amazing students – and we are so grateful to have her will us at Sunset View!

Especialidades – Arte con la Sra. Johnson
