Students in PE are working their way through a volleyball unit. Lower-grade students are beginning with balloons and beachballs while upper-grade students are working with real volleyballs. Students have been practicing techniques individually before moving onto partner and group practice. This week, students began using the net for the first time! They have also been playing a fun game of ‘Battleship’ where students serve the ball to different targets. Our students have enjoyed learning the skills and techniques of this sport. Up next: Playing a full game!
Thank you Coach Tessem for keeping our students engaged in new sports and activities!
