Mrs. Hostetter’s Class Nailed It!

Throw-Back-Thursday – Inspired by the teacher’s back to school team building activity, and to help build teamwork and problem-solving skills in their sixth-grade class, Mrs. Hostetter’s students did a Nailed-It type challenge to recreate peanut butter and jelly “sushi” rolls. Throughout the activity, they were encouraging each other, cooperating with each other, and sharing their creative ideas to help their team reach their goal all within the time limit set by their teacher. They had a fun time working together, getting to know each other better, and creating friendships within their classroom. Plus, they all created amazing peanut butter and jelly ‘sushi’ rolls. This was a great first week of school get-to-know-you activity that got the students warmed up and ready for a great school year.
