Welcome to our next installment of Meet-the-Teacher Monday! Each Monday, we will be spotlighting one of our teachers and sharing a little bit about them with you. Our teacher this week is Miss Crowe.
Miss Crowe had the opportunity to grow up during her elementary years in Arizona, Japan, and Hawaii. She moved to Provo after living in Hawaii. She attended Centennial Middle School and Timpview High School. Miss Crowe studied Elementary Education at Brigham Young University. Miss Crowe spent four years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade in Jordan School District and Salt Lake City School District before coming to teach in Provo City School district. She has been at our school for two years and has taught 3rd grade for both of those years. This will be her sixth year teaching. Miss Crowe enjoys watching suspenseful movies and documentaries. Her favorite movie is Jane Austin’s ‘Sense and Sensibility’. It is one that she can watch over and over again. Her favorite books as a child were ‘A Wrinkle in Time’, ‘The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’, and ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’. Miss Crowe has a two-year-old son named Atticus who keeps her on her toes. In her free time, Miss Crowe enjoys spending time at the park or the pool with her son. Miss Crowe would like her students and parents to know that she loves being a teacher; there is no other career she’d rather have. She loves having your children in her class and getting to watch them grow.
We are so lucky to have Miss Crowe at our school!
