Sunset View Elementary School

Today we held the second day of our Dragon Dash Obstacle Course. The students had a blast running the course, racing their friends, and even racing their teachers! It was exciting to see everyone out having fun in the sun today! While it is different than our normal Dragon Dash, we are loving the change of pace that the obstacle course is bringing! There are 12 events in the obstacle course: zig-zag running, bunny hops, running through hula hoops, crawling through hula hoops, hopscotch, walking along a balance beam (safely on the ground), army crawl, crab walk, push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and somersaults.

The Dragon Dash is a fundraising event for the students of Sunset View and their classrooms. Traditionally the Dragon Dash funds field trips. Due to Covid, we are unable to participate in field trips this year. The Dragon Dash Obstacle Course will provide funds for classrooms to purchase science materials and books. Donations can be submitted until Wednesday, October 14.

All donations are voluntary and students will not be kept from participating in activities if donations are not given.

Don’t forget to check out our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages!
