Sunset View Elementary School

Today we held the first day of our Dragon Dash Obstacle Course. It was a little different than our usual Dragon Dash, but just as fun. We have an obstacle course set up on the north field for the students to run. There are 12 events in the obstacle course: zig-zag running, bunny hops, running through hula hoops, crawling through hula hoops, hopscotch, walking along a balance beam (safely on the ground), army crawl, crab walk, push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and somersaults.

The Dragon Dash is a fundraising event for the students of Sunset View and their classrooms. Traditionally the Dragon Dash funds field trips. Due to Covid, we are unable to participate in field trips this year. The Dragon Dash Obstacle Course will provide funds for classrooms to purchase science materials and books. Donations can be submitted until Wednesday, October 14.

All donations are voluntary and students will not be kept from participating in activities if donations are not given.
