News#TBT Last Wednesday, Fourth Grade students at Sunset View were visited by the Utah Water Van. This is an educational outreach program sponsored by the Living Planet Aquarium to fourth-grade students throughout Utah. The presentations that they give are specifically designed to align with the Science Core Curriculum established by the Utah State Office of Education. Students experienced hands-on learning centered on the water cycle, our use of water, Utah’s weather, water conservation, the importance of wetlands, and adaptations and classifications of some of Utah’s native wetland plants and animals. Our students loved learning and experiencing all that the Water Van had to offer. If you see a fourth-grader, ask them to tell you about their favorite part!
